Tucker is a career educator who has been working with underserved and special needs populations for 7 years. He was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan before moving to Massachusetts where he discovered a passion for education. He earned a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Ethnomusicology from Tufts University, and is continuing his education to become an accredited representative in USCIS immigration court. Tucker is fluent in Japanese and Spanish and hopes to study Haitian Creole, Hindi, and Arabic going forward. A firm believer in the power of patience and consistency, Tucker brings the Japanese concept of kaizen, the goal to create small, incremental improvements every day, to his work as an educator.
In his free time, Tucker enjoys surfing, mushroom hunting, nerding out about buttons on vintage clothing, and singing in his punk rock band.
