Elias Rodriguez

Elias has a deep commitment to social justice and equity. Last summer, he previously worked at the Center to Support Immigrant Organizing where he worked in outreach for organizing around immigrant health equity campaigns. More recently, he participated in the SIT: Migration, Borders, and Transnational Communities program in Oaxaca, Mexico. There he studied  migration in an intensive, language immersive program for 3 months, culminating in an internship at a theater company called Casa Ceiba where he explored the intersections of activism, education, and the performing arts. Elias believes strongly in the merits of academic empowerment and collaboration. 

Elias is originally from Garrett Park, MD and is a rising senior at Tufts University double-majoring in Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora Studies and Civic Studies. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing pickup basketball, and dancing.
