Natasha manages logistics and communications, serving as a key liaison to all internal and external constituencies including the Board of Directors, faculty, staff, donors, community partners, and students.

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Natasha grew up in a close knit diasporic community with her fellow Sri Lankan-Americans. During her time studying Education Studies and Peace & Justice Studies at Tufts University, she held many positions as a community educator, serving youth from the St. Peter’s Afterworks after-school program in Central Square, Cambridge to the Jackson-Walnut Park Montessori School in Newton, MA. She went on to work at Re-Imagining Migration where she developed educational resources around stories of migration in order to help students and educators understand the threads of migration that weave together human history. Finally before joining Enroot, she received the Asia Foundation’s LankaCorps Fellowship, working at the International Centre for Ethnic Studies in Colombo, Sri Lanka. There she worked on making postwar research more pedagogically engaging for students and educators and planned an international conference on reforming Sri Lanka’s history education.

In her free time, Natasha enjoys exploring new cities, cooking, drawing, and watching animated films.
