617-876-5214 Ext. 1

Claire joined the Enroot team this summer through Tufts University’s Tisch Summer Fellows program. She will assist with program management, student engagement, help develop a curriculum for the FY20 academic year, create a career readiness resource for students in our College Success program, and film a series of short films highlighting Enroot.

Born in Houston, Texas, Claire grew up there until the age of 9 before moving to Beijing, China where she stayed through high school. Her experience moving around and working with diverse groups of people formed her passion for cross cultural exchanges and working with children.

Currently a rising junior at Tufts University, Claire is studying Child Study & Human Development, Classics, and Entrepreneurial Leadership. At Tufts, she is on the Leadership Council for Peer Health Exchange where she teaches a skills-based health curriculum at public high schools in the Greater Boston area while leading and training fellow peers at Tufts to teach as well. She also works as a First Year Assistant to assist first year students, serve as a resource, and create a welcoming community. In her free time, Claire enjoys baking, reading, crafting, Chinese dance, and being outdoors.
