Georgia Lederman joined the Enroot team in August 2016 as an Enroot Program Associate through the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship. After serving a second year through AmeriCorps as a Senior Fellow, Georgia was hired to be Enroot's first Manager of College Success and Alumni Engagement. In this role, she works with Enroot students in their first two years of college, supporting Career Readiness, Academic Success, Financial Aid and Social-Emotional well-being.
Georgia comes to Enroot after interning as Administrative Assistant and Peer Mentor at the International Rescue Committee in New York. At the IRC, Georgia worked closely with refugee youth in the Refugee Youth Summer Academy, a program based on a social-emotional curriculum that facilitates the transition to American schools.
Originally from Northampton, MA., Georgia graduated from Oberlin College in 2016 with a BA in French and a concentration in Education. In 2015, Georgia spent 8 months in France where she studied at the Sorbonne. Her interests include cooking, games, running outside, and playing music.
