Georgia Lederman joined the Enroot team in August as Volunteer Coordinator and Program Associate. Georgia recruits, supports and trains volunteers, and assists our leadership program team in curriculum development and implementation.
Georgia comes to Enroot after interning as Administrative Assistant and Peer Mentor at the International Rescue Committee in New York. At the IRC, Georgia worked closely with refugee youth in the Refugee Youth Summer Academy, a program based on a social emotional curriculum that facilitates the transition to American schools. Originally from Northampton, MA., Georgia graduated from Oberlin College in 2016 with a BA in French and a concentration in Education. In 2015, Georgia spent 8 months in France where she studied at the Sorbonne. Her interests include cooking, games, running outside, and playing music.
